Story

Jewellery design is my mission.

It is where I turn beautiful details from nature into wearable works of art that inspire you in your everyday life. I love the design process.

I have been pursuing my dream to design jewellery since childhood when I persistently spent all my pocket money on glass beads, minerals, and fossils.

Enthusiasm for crystal structures and vibrant colours of minerals has taken roots deep within me, as has the love for jewellery. It is a part of me, it is who I am.

The techniques I use in my creations are a fusion of the past and the present. During my many years of internship with the known silver and goldsmith, Christoph Steidl Porenta, I learned a lot about classic goldsmithing techniques. However, I also gained a modern view of jewellery design during my internship with Lara Bohinc in London.

It all starts with an idea, that turns into a sketch and that undergoes a metalworking process. It all culminates the moment the jewellery comes to life on the human body and shines in all its beauty.

The jewellery design process begins with an idea. I normally get inspiration from nature. Then I transform it into a sketch, where I also consider the technique or techniques that will be used to bring my idea to life.

I model the products by hand in wax, then they are casted in silver or gold using the lost wax technique. I also use a combination of ancient forging, chiselling and enamelling techniques to create my pieces. Many interesting processes take place on a goldsmith's table, culminating in girding of stones and hand polishing, that conjures up a wonderful contrast between a shiny surface and the natural texture of the metal.

In manufacturing, I strive for sustainability by using recycled gold and silver. The packaging is made exclusively from eco-friendly and recycled materials.

Each product is designed with passion and attention to detail in a modern, timeless design with future generations in mind.
